My journey into filmmaking began behind the scenes as a video assistant on films like The Hobbit Trilogy, Mad Max: Fury Road, Wolverine, and The Chronicles of Narnia. There, I had the privilege of observing visionary directors like Peter Jackson, George Miller, Michael Apted, and James Mangold in action.

From there, I stepped into the world of advertising, working in-house at TBWA Australia as a director and editor. It was here that I honed my instincts for narrative and visual storytelling—a passion that continues to drive my work.

 

Between directing commercials and branded documentaries, I also contribute to shows like ABC’s Gruen and Question Everything.

"Chase the truth" is a mantra passed down from my father, a journalist of 40 years. That philosophy has shaped my approach to filmmaking—creating space for genuine, unscripted moments, breaking down facades, and fostering real connection, both on and off-screen.
